Yep. After Mom finally retired and had just started collecting her social security, a social security employee called and started asking her probing questions. This was back in around 2009 when people still answered their phones. Mom said, “Are you trying to figure out how much longer I’m going to be alive?” The bureaucrat sheepishly said, “Well yes…”
Mom in fact didn’t live much longer. She didn’t come anywhere near collecting what they took out. If social security was calling people back then and estimating how long they’d need to pay, it isn’t much of a leap to wonder if this thinking had something to do with killing off the elderly during “Covid.”
I agree. My Mom worked all her life, often 70 hours a week and raised 4 kids. Then she died penniless from medical malpractice.
