Fort Knox was named for Major General Henry Knox, the first US Sec. of War.
Sec. Knox was a greedy and unscrupulous speculator who died bankrupt after choking on a chicken bone. His notoriety was so enduring, he served as the model for the villainous Col. Pyncheon in Nathaniel Hawthorne's The House of Seven Gables, a novel written decades after his death.
Over the years I've heard speculation both ways, we HAVE gold in Fort Knox and we DON'T have gold at Fort Knox. What does this group think?
I think we should check.
I think it was gone but Q team got it back.
For the movie they will show that it's gone but we have the gold back because he did say we have it.
