Imagine a defense lawyer for these crooks telling a judge in the middle of their trial that the source of money funding the defense had just been maliciously cut off by the prosecution—the same money that was also secretly enriching the judge.
Turn the money off now. Expose the corrupt judges now. Get everything cleaned up—not completely, but enough for now—then bring them down.
It makes sense. Taking their money away makes for max-ReeeEEEeee. Which is endlessly pop-corn worthy and meme-generative.
If they then start breaking things in retaliation, the cops will have to mop them up.
Or the stinky ones can slink silently into the night. At which point, claw back the money they stole, as well.
