Seems way too low
The Trump administration fired at least 17 inspectors general in a late-night purge on Jan. 24.
On Feb. 11, the inspector general for U.S.A.I.D. was fired, a day after he released a report warning that agency cuts risked the misuse and waste of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.
Mr. Trump also fired the three Democrat-selected members of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board,
President Trump has moved swiftly to wage his war on the federal bureaucracy, defying norms and legal limits. On Feb. 13, his administration escalated those efforts by starting to terminate most of an estimated 200,000 probationary employees, who were recently hired or promoted to a new position and have fewer protections.
(Note: most probationary employees are not new employees but long term federal workers who were either switching positions or moving upward or had come out of retirement. They go into probationary status when they do this.)
