I'm invested in $DJT + $Ripple (the founding company of XRP)... and am holding more XRP than any other crypto by far. To date, it's my biggest YOLO outside of $GME.
I don't count precious metals as a "risk" at all...
Very hopeful that XRP goes on a fucking shred session to the moon.
XRP! LFG! It's the ONLY Crypto, in my opinion, that has an actual* real world use behind it. Many others claim to have utility, but, XRP's speed and cost + the way the blockchain is setup/used, makes it the perfect international/domestic vehicle for rapid, high volume monetary transactions/transfers.
If this replaces SWIFT and the majority of countries utilize XRP? We could see huge gains here as the liquidity deepens significantly with expanded usage.
💯👌....XRP , I Think is going to surprise a lot of people....
I Only bought recently, I managed to get them at $0.52(I never really thought about XRP but something, I don't know what made me buy and go allin on XRP and a few SOL😉🙂😎) Now I'm Just going to hold..
It's certainly a valid fear... in order to make this work, I have a sinking suspicion that Ripple will have to dish out a ton of XRP coins to allow for true decentralization and open up huge volumes of coins to allow governments to buy in. There's a big ? surrounding this, as Ripple currently holds the bulk of XRP. Technically making it "centralized", but just not owned by a bank.
Given that USA, S.America and Japan is already running internal testing with XRP to handle intra-bank transactions; and everything is going smoothly, and Ripple is willing to play ball, I think it is* possible. It's certainly cheap enough to justify vs. SWIFT or something as dumb as Bitcoin.
For the banks to create their own coin, it would require them to build an all new ecosystem and start from scratch... without billions of supporting liquidity already present.
