My daughter and I were talking about how cool it would be to go on vacation with friends, but when it came time to consider which friends we'd care to spend that kind of time with...

Everybody we used to think would be fun to hang with had done some kind of stupid thing that pretty much disqualified them.

It really sucks. Surely though, there will come a time when more people do wake up, and the awake and aware find one another.
