The USA should leave NATO.
Form a total and full alliance with Russia and China.
All 3 superpowers can reduce military spending by 75%.

Let a few Eastern European nations join, the ones that aren’t insane.
I was told the “crazy ideologically warped enemies” of America were the USSR/Russia when I was growing up.
They’re now fine and that description fits Western European nations.
If France or England get out of line they’re powerless to challenge ARC (America Russia China).

I like it, except if Russia & the US are together, China needs to pound sand like Europe. As Trump encourages manufacturing to come back to the states, China's already faltering economy will break and the Chinese people can, and likely would, demand change. As an added benefit, China can't rattle their sword with Russia on board.
It’s an idea that would actually work. Considering how treacherous European politicians and civil servants are, why would you include them.
US military bases now have a much different roll. The UK have a pathetic 75k TOTAL armed forces, which is the government’s ultimate threat over citizens.
EU politicians would be irrelevant.
I was wondering the same. I would speculate that the 3 way alliance would require guarantees that none of the 3 go on 'land grab' missions, such as the Crimea situation back during BO's reign. China couldn't expand to control Taiwan, etc. I suppose land purchases could still work, but would China/Russia agree to a Greenland deal for the US? or a Canadian state? Doubt Russia would go for that unless they were permitted to 'purchase' to annex Ukr and others. Spitballing.
