What EU, UK is dying to do is to get U.S. to agree to backstop any European forces that might enter a peace keeping mission in Ukraine.
Besides the fact that Russia will never agree to have European forces on the ground in Ukraine, this is a trap. The UK particularly, but France also would try and set this trap to get U.S. into a direct war with Russia.
Think about it. UK/European forces in peace keeping mission with guarantee that U.S. will come to their aid if attacked. The UK/EU forces launch a false flag, blame it on Russia, U.S. has to respond. POTUS will not fall for this trap, and it shows the childish intellect that the UK/EU would even think he would.
