Blurry screenshots is the most obvious sign that something is a lie. Lies are often repeated, because when repeated enough times, people will believe they are true, that's the theory at least. Every time it's re-posted, the quality is further reduced.

For one, it gets them clicks. This game is heavily monetized.
Furthermore, spreading disinformation is disruptive and destructive to those who believe it. Remember that we are at war.

All the larger media lies. Like big time. Here in the US they were able to stop being held accountable for lying (thanks Obama).
Taking anything the MSM says at face value is a way to be easily manipulated and guided in whatever direction they want to herd the crowd.
Why would they lie? Because they're criminals.
A bigger question is, why fight for them so hard? The mainstream media is the enemy of the people. They paying you for clicks?
