This week, the NZ government sees GEOTUS making ready to withdraw troops from Europe (I can't see any other logical step other than this move after the way Z behaved and then the way EU members responded with utter outrage that Trump did what he did).
Anyway, we see the US looking like they're going to pull out of Europe and we stand to gain as Trump seems likely to be re-deploying the troops in a more Pacific direction (which would be fucking fantastic for NZ).
And then, nek minnit, our PM antagonises GEOTUS with this twat message. I am sure the President never thinks about NZ, but his team will tell him that our PM is OBVIOUSLY one of the bad guys. Whoomph tarrifs here they come!
Our frens in the US have no idea how bad it is here, we are 18 months behind the UK in terms of the hard turn to fascism and race hatred.
