Once again, I don't think I have seen ANY of the films (MOVIES) that won awards. However, I did watch the opening monologue by Conan to see if he was funny, and I thought he was, and he made a bit of fun of the audience, which was good to see, and did not mention Trump or Republicans at all. I quit watching after the first award was given, where the presenters took an incredible amount of time describing each of the nominees!
I turned on the TV and they had that bald, black woman singing some "Wicked" song, and I thought, "Oh, this must be some pre-oscar show". I hit the info button on the remote and saw it WAS the Oscars, so I suffered through that song until the opening with Conan started. I think most people here would get some laughs at his monologue, especially the very start of it, where they make fun of that Demi Moore movie!
He did great for most of the show then suddenly took a subtle jab at Trump, then trotted out Mark Hamill as a presenter who was followed by the Epstein list cast of Oprah with Whoopie Goldberg on her arm like the show suddenly devolved into TDS characters. Was wild.
