It would appear that Democrats, including Chuck Schumer met with Zelensky 2 hours BEFORE he met with POTUS. There was a plan put in place by Democrats to embarrass POTUS by refusing any peace deals.

The Democrats DO NOT want the PEACE TALKS to start so Zelensky was ordered to not just embarrass POTUS but to antagonise him.

Exactly, if he cared about his country he would have never shelled the Donbass. If he cared about his country he would have accepted the first attempts at peace not long after the war started. Zelenskyy has more love for his role in all of this than his country.
