England has birthed such greatness AND such blight. Praying God will rise up a new Arthurian reign when the time comes to cleanse the land for his people. Like Arthur it will require someone who can unite the English under justice and hope. Arthur arose when the people were swarmed by foreign mercenaries used to keep a corrupt king in power and the land was fractured by the loss of Roman protection. Historically Arthur wasn’t the modern Camelot version but he did unite the people and drive out foreign invaders who came under a banner of peace but began to raid the people and demand their culture over that of the people. It may come to that again.
The current royals aren’t really off his tree. If they are, it’s distant.

The history of English kings and national finances is MUCH more important to our history than we’ve been aware of.
