This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

You ever notice that when we're asleep, all the close relatives that we've lost are always alive in the dream? My mom and dad are always alive in the dream. My brother is always alive too. Sometimes my mom will be gone away from the house in the dream and I'll be worried about her. I wake up out of the dream and my first thought is that I need to go looking for her. It takes me a few seconds to realize that I'm back to reality and that I don't need to go looking for my mom. I always feel relieved and sad at the same time.
Right after my mom died I had a reoccurring dream that we went to her house to start cleaning it out. We get there and she's walking around the house, (my dad who died 4 years previous, is there, too).
I hug them and say that I knew you weren't gone. Then I worry about having to get their social security re-instated.
I don't remember much more than that, but the dream did eventually go away.

Yes they always make an appearance. My dreams can get crazy. I dream something weird and wild happening in my life right now with my living family and my grandparents & great grandparents that aren’t living. Half the time I can’t remember the dreams except little snippets. What’s weird is my dead grandparents in the dream are alive. My great grandma died in 1983 & she’s in the dreams a lot. After each one died I dreamed about them for several months. The dreams are so real, when I wake up I’m confused, is it modern day or twenty+ years ago.
