If someone cannot walk from point A to B on a college campus because protestors are blocking his free movement, then the protests have just become illegal.

BLM Protest which turn violent are not legal. Neither are attacks from protesters on college campuses.
You have a right to protest peacefully. Beyond that you risk arrest.
