I wonder who convinced people to stop giving kids cod liver oil? That was a pretty standard thing in the past. I remember people who were kids during the 50’s or earlier talking about it. But, as a little kid in the 60’s I don’t remember anyone saying they had to take it.
My mother forced me to have a spoonful every morning. However, I don't remember if this was before or after I almost died from measles.
