....AND...A P38 on their car keys...or maybe that's just me
A P38 is the perfect stocking stuffer. I have one on my keyring,(in the first aid kits, bug out bags, etc.) and everyone in my circle gets one. Merry Christmas!
I also carry one of those on my key ring, but have to tape it closed, otherwise it grabs onto my clothing, snags everything, including my fingers when I reach in my pocket. I just can't find one that will close all the way, flush with the base.
Thanks for the tip; time to tape mine up. Snagging thing is the only downside.
A good rubber band can work too.
no, no .. not at all. we All have key rings that big,.. I mean, my .44 Colt Dragoon hits my brake petal sometimes but ..I mean we all have to make sacrifices no matter how small. -you're doin' good. [can u hear me saying that? lol] - not just you Red'. lol -great comment man, much much appreciated. I needed that. Cheers friend π»
We may be talking about different P38s
oooooooooh you mean the little plane. not the walther. my bad. I get vodka in my eye from time to time. all apologies friend. cheers! π»
Can opener that came with C/K rats. No apologies needed, I deal with retards on the regular so I'm used to their lack of knowledge of such things...

I do so remember this! wow was not even thinking of this. -many thanks and all apologies for me being the idiot on this. -brain cells seem to be going by the way side here lately. That link/pic brought back some good memories. many thanks and much respect Red'. - π«‘π»
Happy to oblige, fren.

Mine is from basic training - damn thing still works like the day I got it.
I resemble a few of those. I would add another one: a sense of calm when shit happens. When you have been shot at a lot, everything else is lesser included case. We tend to be disgusted when people get all upset over trivial issues.
isn't the over-emotional idiocy of some of who we've seen over the last few years puke inducing? -what you said: "spot on" cheers Revo' π»
Enjoyed this thread. Thanks to you all for the service and sacrifice.
Thank you Notimportant81.
And a salute to my fellow vets.

Unbeknownst to about 90% of the military that is soon to be labeled vaids and/or a ble chip thats hive minding their biodata. Wonder what the va is going to do for those who now have a radio frequency of an iPhone in call mode 24/7 stuck in their bodies. Would they offer an all expense paid EMP therapy? How about an official covid19 psyop survivor ribbon on the uniform that looks like a spike protein. If you got the V device it means you survived without succumbing to pressure and left the military and remained vocal about the injustice to peers and subordinates alike. Anyone who took the vaccine doesn't get one.
π I feel exactly what you're saying. exactly, and very well said 17'. -and to answer your question(s) on that, I have heard from a friend who does work within the VA that there is chatter about treating the vaxxed. I cannot say just exactly what but I can say that this is being spoken of. Now, the question is - "When" are they going to. Soon I hope. many thanks for the comment. I sure appreciate it. cheers π»
Semper Fi, fren... former Jarhead here, not as lean, not as mean as I used to be, but can still hit a target at 200 yards with my Springfield M1A1.
Good to see you again fren. I'd say after a two week vacay I was reading some of the posts and had to come back. decided the greek version of the name this time. -as far as you hittin' that target, I'd say that's one thing that'll not ever go away. That particular M1A you've got is in my opinion one of the best rifles, even today. I'd definitely trust it over some plastic polymer thing. Just the same as I would a 1911 over a glock, any day. That's just my preference. Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Many thanks for the comment TNBanjo' much appreciated. Semper Fi π«‘π»
My brother (also a Marine who served in Vietnam) told me this story. He was at Ke San and VC regularly approached the wire using trees for cover.
His guys gave up shooting at them with their M-16s and started using the M-14s, which would shoot THROUGH the trees.
That infiltration shit stopped right quick.
I served in the Panama Canal Zone at Rodman Naval Base, but we frequently defended the Canal during various riots the Panamanians organized. They wanted "their" Canal back... the one we built.
how insulting of them to do so. I'm just glad you guys made it back home. really looking forward to POTUS getting the, ..no OUR canal back. carter, eh.... don't get me started. pretty sure that guy was dead probably 2 years before they announced it and just wheeled him around mummified in formaldehyde. appreciate what you said here Banjo' - many thanks to you "and" your brother. Thank you, and Semper Fi.
any time friend. anytime. ππ»
