At the moment, a ceasefire benefits Ukraine more than Russia. While Russia is losing the occasional town in Ukraine Ukraine are being pushed right our of Russia. If they stopped now then Ukraine would still have a foothold in Russia.
Then there is the issue of trust. Would Ukraine stop fighting because of a ceasefire? Have they ever broken any agreements in the past - apart from all of them, obviously?
Just as with the Minsk agreements, they would use any pause to prepare themselves for future attacks on Russia.
