Gas prices might be coming down from a federal standpoint while looking at the average, but your state might have taxes that keep it high. Washington state has egregious gas taxes thanks to Inslee's Climate Commitment Act, and even higher based off what county you live in. It's ridiculous and a giant money-grubbing scam by state government.

Politicians as a group need to go extinct. I no longer drive, but I did notice gas now below 3 bucks in inner city Nashville. Tn $2.25 Lowest, $2.68Average
