The reason he named them that is really sad.

George was illegitimate. He never knew his real father, some deadbeat named Leroy Moorehead.

So his siblings would mock him: "You're not a Foreman! You're a Moorehead!"

He was so humiliated by this that he vowed that when he grew up, he would name all of his sons George, so that they would all KNOW who their father is.
