There's nothing secretive or nefarious about Inns of the Court. They exist in every Federal Court district in the country. They're simply social places for people who have business before the court to socialize with each other, to get to know each other and help young lawyers learn the ropes.
We had massive corruption in oklahoma,in the old days. To much public buisness was conducted in back rooms. So they passed an open meetings laws. It's illegal for public officials to meet in private for obviouse reason.
