I'll give it a few more weeks, but the Week in Pictures by John Hinderaker isn't any where near the quality of The Week In Pictures by Steve Hayward.
Hayward understood memes. He understood the meme space. Hinderaker has so far displayed no real sense of what a meme is, or of how they reflect current events or trends in the given week.
Steve would occasionally throw in a media cartoon, but also had a section called the Headlines of the Week. Almost 50% of HIndraker's "memes' are from mainstream media. And, they are all over the place, not zeroing in on a weekly theme, the way Steve did.
Hope it improves, but I'm not optimistic.

"Sunday Funnies" may have changed authors but my intent is still the same: to encourage and uplift frens through laughter.
