Yeah Obamacare fucked me over. I had no issues before it and had super cheap insurance, or maybe free I can't remember. Then after Obamacare it was a fair bit more and less convenient to pay. I forgot to pay for like 6 months (my fault) and was dropped right as I needed a $20+k emergency appendectomy. I said fuck it and didn't pay not that I could even afford that anyway and let my credit score go to 0. Also had about $6k student loan left that I stopped paying because my credit was f'd anyway.
Unfortunately I hadn't purchased a home before all that which is what really sucks. On the bright side it's easy to stay debt free without having any credit
