I would say that when adding people to a conversation about serious stuff you would be more cautious about adding folks.
So I’d say it’s like 99.9999% chance it’s on purpose. These assholes are doing everything to stop Trump. All they are left with now are high school tactics, which is kind of funny.
Standard Operating Procedure would be for the originator of the meeting to establish a distribution / invitation list. Does this guy really have the authority to determine who participates in such discussions? Either someone is not maintaining organizational discipline, or someone is insubordinate, or both.
I think where I’m coming from is, yes, in my mind, I’m a no-importance person, I make this mistake for sure; maybe twice in the last couple decades. But in a high level role after being briefed on national security, gaining secret clearance, and having a high level position, I wouldn’t be who I am today, I would have a different perspective on things related to secrets and security and this would be something that I would be vigilant in not doing. I think there would be a heightened responsibility that I can’t even imagine having. Worst thing people would learn about me in something like this would be a pizza order or something so unimportant. Kek. So, that’s why I think it was on purpose, you don’t get top security clearance and listen to the laws and consequences without being a little more careful at best. So it seems plausible, but really not completely easily done.
I'm going to point out that Biden's administration was full of people with security clearances who were briefed on national security plenty of times and they were all still functionally retarded.
You're giving them all way too much credit than they deserve.
Hell, it doesn't even have to be part of Biden's administration to show how having security clearance doesn't automatically make a person more careful. Remember when Giuliani butt-dialed the reporter from NBC News and accidentally left voice-mails about his personal financial problems and some business doings going on in the Middle East? More than once. And then there was the info that came out last year that he was texting the wrong people when he was supposed to be working with the legislators in Michigan on the 2020 election results.
So, yeah, just because someone has security clearance doesn't make them infallible.

Was Jeffrey Goldberg on the list by name? I am hearing that there was someone identified as "JR," but the system associated it with Goldberg.
No argument over confidentiality. This was more a matter of privacy than security.
All I know is I have been 100% serious and still screwed up at times, as have most people, I think.
This was no mistake.
why would he even have such a crooked 'journalist' phone number to begin with?

Well, I’m not alone.
