I think the only drawback to horse paste is a not too clear dosage delivery system. It's a lot easier to swallow a couple tablets than guestimating half to three quarters of their smallest increment of 250 pounds.
Another drawback is the taste. I had to use the paste back in Jan 2021 and quickly found out it was apple scented and not apple flavored.
