Any city in a blue state is worse. I've been to all of them and Houston.

I doubt it's suicide they're dying from. And for those of you who believe Texas is a solid red state, please explain why every major city in Tx is a liberal bastion, just like in FL?

These were Sheriff deputies, so they're working the outskirts and suburbs, not the inner city. Also, Harris County is massive, so these are four out of thousands of deputies.
U.s. average is about 14 out of every 100,000 commit suicide annually. That is 1 out of about 7000.
Harris County has 4200 deputies. That makes 4 out of 4200 or 1 per 1050. That's a seven fold increase in suicide and it was in a six week period and all affiliated in the same sheriffs department.
Way outside the average.
