Zika started/found 1947 in “monkeys, caused by “mosquitoes.” Uganda, Africa, now all over.
Polio started/found (conflicting theories/years, late 1700, 1800, virus identified 1909) major outbreak in the U.S. late 1900-early 2000. RNA virus
HIV/AIDS started/found 1959 from “primates.” Congo, Africa 1983
SARS 1 started/found 2002 in “bats.” Guangdong province, China
COVID 19 started/found 2020 in “bats.” Guangdong Province, China
Lyme started/found 1975 in “tics.” Connecticut, USA
