While the men work odd construction jobs during the day, the 5 foot nothing women with long dark hair down to their ass push baby carriages around town to and from the ethnic food shops and the laundromat.
The scores of vans with 14 ladders and a couple wheelbarrows barely tied down to the roof are not taking the main roads. I even compared the police log to see how many Latin names were getting busted for unregistered, uninsured unlicensed vehicle operation. The list has nearly dried up from months ago.
I had been in touch with ICE (coworker's brother was an agent) about 15 years ago because I had video of my neighbor repeatedly providing paperwork of some sort to visitors all throughout the evening and weekends. This went on for nearly a year.
ICE came out with their surveillance van and walked up and down the street trying to observe it themselves. They took my video tape but never got back to me.
They are still thick on the ground in new Bedford. Then again I think they may have imported a lot of Guatemalans legally in work visas for fish houses and fishing vessels. I remember hearing something like that about a program.

Are you with me, Dr. Wu? Are you really just a shadow of the 'man I once knew?
But can you notice the difference before-and-after?
Yes, most certainly. It's shocking actually.

I suspect it was squashed by the higher ups.

Sorry to hear that. New Bedford certainly has much different opportunities than the inland cities.
I'll check with my buddy in Framingham to see if he noticed a difference like I have. He's been disgusted with the illegals there for a loooong time.
My buddy confirmed that he has also noticed a decrease in "Ladder People" and much less foreigners roaming around.
