She has been purposefully placed in every position in her career. This is exactly why she was selected for the Supreme Court. There were at least 20 better qualified liberal leaning candidates when she was up. And don't think Republicans in Congress didn't know it.

Everyone is focused on Noem's departure rather than Mullins' arrival. I believe Trump's next trick is to reorganize DHS (it's still not funded btw). Over 90 Congressional committees claim some sort of oversight into DHS and its departments. You need a congressional insider, business savy and MAGA hardliner for that. Mullins is perfect.

That's extremely personal and clearly indicates there is more to this case than a ruling on one of multiple Trade acts that allow for tariffs to be applied.
