It says something like you have to be a "tax netpayer" and "make more than $40,000" a year. A bit disheartening if that's true, there's lots of hardworking Americans who dont make that much, that still need it :(

Can anyone show me one American of any financial means that hasn't paid anything into the huge amount of waste DOGE has found? Gas, sales, hidden, and other taxes are all part of it and there are costs besides taxes, like fees and so on. How high would the price of a licence plate or a building permit be if not for all of the corruption built into the cost? We all pay, and to tie any money returned to income tax only is crazy.
Every adult citizen in this country has been screwed over for decades and decades and many of us won't see a dime back. I'll be fine with that (because I have to be) if the systems get fixed and the crooks get prosecuted.
Any American that crows about how they did not file on April 15th because it is unconstitutional.
Tax evasion is a separate issue.
My point is the cost of waste and abuse and to Americans goes WAY beyond who paid income tax and how much they paid.
