Oklahoma is so underrated ! Damn you’re living in Gods country ! I went to Rhema 30 some years ago . Broken arrow and Tulsa is all I saw but I loved it !
I ve been very glad the last few years,that i was liveing here thru the troubled times....
The state went seriously broke,in the 80's when the price of oil crashed,so they had to make a lot of changes. They also passed a balanced budget amendment at that time. They state can't borrow money,they have to cut the budget until it matches projected revenue.
We are not leaving any state debt,for future generations to pay off.
Here in Oklahoma our state reps only meet for a couple months of the year,then they go back to their regular jobs.
They can do the same,if we made them.....
