Trump's Six-Point Plan for Making America Great Again
When it comes to the U.S. and its trade with foreign partners, we must first address what it means to put America first.WHile that may sound exclusionary to some in the international community, it is simply an outgrowth of a long-standing and oft...
Meanwhile Congress is doing their damndest to frustrate his plans.
The Senate voted in favor of lifting Tariffs on Canada. 51-48. Murkowski, Collins, McConnell, and Paul voted in favor of the Democrat bill. Not long after he finished his announcement.
It’s not expected to be taken up by the House. So it’s kinda moot. But at the same time one should be on the lookout for fuckery. Especially from the snake den that is Congress.
Wait, RAND PAULL!!!??? He's usually pretty solid so im wondering what his reasoning is.
Probably some Libertarian/Free-Market thing. People tend to give him a free pass in the first term. But he did the same thing then.
His support isn’t a guarantee like some of the other Congressional Lemmings. He voted with Dems on a regular enough basis during Term 1. Usually in attempts to disempower the Executive. Or because some aspect of Trump Policy contradicted Libertarian/Free-Market policy.
Stands to reason he’ll do the same thing again. Regardless of any extenuating circumstances or details. Because some of the stuff he voted with Dems on was blatantly a power play on their part. Not because they briefly grew principles.
At this point. I’m fairly certain the only reason he’s still Republican. Is because the assorted Libertarian parties have spent an almost 20 years shooting themselves in the foot and choosing stupid and unpopular, or well unpopular with the majority of the electorate at any rate, hills to die on. So he’d run a fair risk of loosing his reelection.
We just got f***** over by Congress over Canada!
