Ya know suspending the gas tax sounds like a good idea, but it pays for the highways we use, I think each State should receive the same amount of tax money they send to DC as to the amount they receive. in Indiana were in the lower 10 States in receiving the money we send to DC, it's just an unfair tax, I bend my rim on my car yesterday on a State highway due to pot holes, the City of Indianapolis is riddled with pot holes on the majority of streets, somethings has to give with the condition of roads. I was in Virginia last summer, their roads are as smooth as a babies butt. Keep the gas tax, and make it fair for all of us.
We're in NW Indiana, and I concur--roads are horrendous. In fact, a large sinkhole on a major street in West Lafayette occurred just this week. Old infrastructure combined with irresponsible funding management by the area's Democratic Mayors has me feeling like I'm living a real life City of Ember. Edit: duplicate word.
