I just want to give a big thank you to John. After he posted his father in law’s results with arthrosclerosis, I did a month of therapy in November and then I repeated the therapy in March.
I did 2000 mg of lysine at 10 AM. 2000 mg of vitamin C at noon then I had a five hour eating period from 3 PM to 8 PM. Then followed by 2000 mg of lysine at 10 PM and 2000 mg of vitamin C at 11 PM. I was very strict about it being on an empty stomach and I barely missed any doses. I have 1-2 cup of water with each dose.
I think I’ve always avoided vitamin C because of kidney stones but now I realize I was really deficient in vitamin C.
I had an 85% blockage in my superior mesenteric artery and I just had my appointment today. The doctor said it’s 60% now, so that is a 25% improvement. A little part of me wanted it to be 100% open, but a 25% improvement is really big. I didn’t have a lot of discomfort after eating, but I can tell I’m more comfortable now after eating a big meal and I don’t have as much loose stools as I used to suffer with.
So I just wanted to say thank you to John and I couldn’t have done it without his advice. I also want say thank you to this community. You guys are so important to me. I love how we share information and lift each other up mentally, spiritually, and in health.
One question I have for John is how much do I take on a daily basis and how often should I repeat the treatment dose of 4000 mg of vitamin C and 4000my of lysine?
What does the proline do? I thought just Lysine was enough. Does proline do something similar or does it aid the process in a different way?
Every now & then I do a bout of Vit C + Lysine (I take them both simultaneously -2 grams of both, & bump them up every few hours till I'm done fasting) Then I have tons of yogurt &rice & things to get my stomach gut back up
Proline was something Linus polling added to the vitamin C lysine protocol a bit later on.
Here's some more information, but to sum it up for you, both lysing and proline work to dissolve deposits in the arteries. Lysine is the big one, but proline works from a slightly different angle of attack so to speak.
It's not necessary for results, but definitely worth adding if someone's not getting the results they wanted.

Well, 1st of all John, I think I owe you a world of thanks. I forgot who posted it but it was about a year ago or so that I read about it & tried. Now, around that time I would go for walks but if I would run too hard I felt what I figure was angina. IDK I stopped seeing doctors around the time of Covid but used common sense about health, so I didn't push it if I felt that feeling. I don't remember for how long I tried your protocol (maybe around 2 weeks as you posted it but then more relaxed about it as things improved) but I felt more & more like running on my walks & more capable of it. By the end of the summer I was running instead of walking & much longer distances.
After that I would take a day every few months & basically just do a fast except for Vit C & Lysine. I read up about the 1/2 lives of them in the body - both of which are about 2 hours so I would start with maybe a few grams of each & every hour maybe 500 mg more - until I was tired of it & then - 3 hours later or so eat as usual. I will add this proline next time I do it (so basically 4 to 1 lysine / proline), maybe in a month or so.
Yes, it does ruin my stomach biom (I sometimes go of for 3, 4 or even 5grams & break the fast with probiotics & things like rice) Thank you VERY much!
