The prophets, whether you believe in them or not, have accurately prophesied about what is going on right now, the hand of God is passing across our lands.

I do not put stock in modern so-called prophets. Scripture is sufficient.
'“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord . And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.'
Joel 2:28-32 https://www.bible.com/bible/111/JOL.2.28-32
The book of Joel was written between 800 and 400 BC.
The outpouring of the Spirit in Joel 2:28–32 is cited by Peter in Acts 2 as fulfilled at Pentecost—demonstrating that Joel’s prophecy finds its ultimate expression in the New Covenant era through Christ.
That happened in 70AD, after Pentecost, when Rome surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed the city and the temple. Secular accounts say there was an eclipse that lasted days as well as a comet hanging over the city like a sword in the sky.
Jesus came on the clouds in judgment upon Jerusalem right when he said he would. If you recall he said this generation shall not pass to all these things take place.
Quit looking into the future for things that have already been fulfilled in the past. Christians didn't do that until the publication of the Schofield reference Bible about 200 years ago, the first Bible to have footnotes, spread this fringe view of end times that was all but unheard of before that.
Unfortunately because this Bible was the first study Bible it was widely adopted by a seminaries and pastors and this unhistoric view of the end times spread like wildfire.
This led Christians to believe that Jerusalem has some sort of future place in the fulfillment of biblical prophecy and we see the fruit of that now with Christians standing with Israel.
You know which people have a large amount of the market for publishing books and media that they used to manipulate groups of people? Oh yeah, the Jews.
Don't be a sucker.
This verse is speaking of Pentecost.
Correct.
I tend to agree with you. At the very end of the Bible we find the following verses:
"18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
That’s only for the Old and New Testament. It doesn’t count toward the 3rd Testament, to be written upon or after Christ’s return.
The canon of scripture is closed. There will not be a third testament. We will not need a testament because we will have Christ with us, ruling and reigning forever.
😂
Please tell me you're trolling.
If not, who the hell taught you that And why did you believe them? Because it certainly didn't come from scripture.
Why would God send prophets to one generation and not another? God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. There is much in the Bible about God raising up prophets to warn His people (us). I believe we need Prophetic insights as much today as any time in history
God never changes, but the way He deals with people at different times does. This doesn't mean God has changed. Why does God make the sky clear one day, and cloudy the next? The why is simple, because it is His sovereign will. We have the prophetic insights that we need, they are given to us in Scripture. Sola Scriptura; God already told us everything that we need to know.
