Yeah! 150k or less!
Let's have a 2 tier system where we take money from people who worked hard and are successful, and those who are less successful get free rides. That will really incentivize working hard! Not to mention we can just wipe our ass with the equal protection clause!
For people not working, geting to keep all you make is a big incentive to start.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it would be 0% tax on the first $150k for everyone. So if you make $150,001 you would only pay tax on the $1. That is how the current bracket system works.
I understand, I just think it's a different set of rules for different people and a violation of the equal protection clause.
Group A: 75% of the population (those making under 150K) do not have to pay a single cent in income tax and Group B: the other 25% does, regardless of how much or how little. That's still a different set of rules and is essentially saying the government can extort under threat of prison, money from group B.

If I remember, tax attorneys say create an LLC, have your biz or employer pay your LLC. Take your salary from the LLC only. Keep it under $150k if this gets passed or 87K or less for this year at least, borrow any more from your LLC. See a tax attorney for the fine details. It goes something like that.
Yeah, fuck that and fuck Lutnick. The founding fathers got it right. Tariffs funded everything the fed.gub is authorized to do. No income tax necessary. It took 1913 to start funding all the things the fed.gub is NOT authorized to do. WW1 being the first in a long list of those things.
