It was supposedly an experienced tourist helicopter pilot. I would think that would be unlikely that he (?) mast bumped. But if one of the passengers was flying because he offered a large bonus, maybe.
I don’t see any outlet releasing the pilots name I’m not sure how to find out if he was or not. Based on witness reports of the rotor coming off of the helicopter and the craft splitting in two it sounds like textbook mast bump to me. Who knows. The fact that a Siemens guy was on it makes it suspect. Either mastbump or sabotage could be either I guess.
