According to a radio broadcast I heard right after - when we still didn't know if Lennon would make it or not - Chapman lived next door to Barbara & GHWB in (I think it was Indiana) in the 70's. I never heard peep about that again but about 15 years later I met someone else who also heard that same broadcast
