There is real world public data and discussion about this from NASA - they have people working on bending space time to build an Alcubierre type drive that is effectively star trek warp tech. The idea is, you can travel "without moving" by bending space in front of you to essentially create a planet in front of you, potentially with a negative planet behind you to push as well, and you essentially "fall" in any direction you like without ever moving. In a sort of bubble where the laws governing regular euclidian movement aren't in place.
In practice, there has been an "Emdrive" discovery that was shilled hard core as "impossible and fake" despite multiple peer reviewed proofs around teh world showing that electric power can produce a magnetic field capable of causing movement in space without actual mass propulsion like thrusters or rockets.
Its scientifically interesting but not practical right now and mostly a discovery of future potential that forces science to rethink some math, but the suspicious propaganda trying to discredit it and ignor eyour eyes and ears with the usual crackpot account language makes me think its more well developed than we might realize and the tech is being actively suppressed because it can be built by anyone with sufficient motivation. After the exact same language was used to try and discredit past studies proving medications like Ivermectin are effective antivirals that had already been proven to work against SARS (the only other member of the Covid virus family ever discovered) and how that misinformation campaign was 100% politically motivated, I am more than ever convinced the Emdrive discovery is not only viable but may actually be in practical testing or even use. Suppressing potential like that in an organized political way makes no sense unless its already a finished tech that is being held back from general adoption.
Obviously I'm talking about future ideas and current theory of movement technologies, but the ability to manipulate spacetime like this would have unbelievable weapons potential as well. Deliver something like that to a target and you wouldn't need explosives to destroy it.
By manipulating the vacuum in which time and space exist in, it can bend time and space.
