Good question, but the answer is that the Bible holds the promise of salvation for all. The story begins with Adam and Eve sinning in the Garden of Eden. They are banished, but they are promised salvation for mankind. Fast forward years and years, we get Jesus who comes down to live among us and act as a sacrifice for our sins. His entire life was prophetic as the prophets of the old testament wrote scripture which Jesus eventually fulfilled.
The truth is that Jesus is the son of the living God, and he is not just a superhero. He came down from heaven to take that blame for all our sins and was nailed to a cross in order to fulfill prophecies regarding his death. This is seen in Jewish Passover rituals where they kill a lamb without blemish. Guess who is the Lamb of God? Jesus that's who. All you have to do is sincerely ask Jesus to save you from your sins. From that point forward, you will become a new person. Study that bible because it presents the plan of salvation for mankind.
Just so you know, the Mormon religion is just that, a religion.
