No. It's not like royalty, when Elizabeth II died, then Charles III was immediately the new King. It took a while to have all the ceremonies, but he was King the second she died.
There is no Pope at all right now. There will be a new Pope when one is elected. Until then it is known as Sede Vacante or the seat is vacant.
