Seriously though, there's a lot more musicians on our side than meets the eye. The news has us focused on the cosmopolitan hyper popular by demand artists and those in the spotlight, but a wide array of less than mainstream or alt-alt-defunct bands and musicians are very much center right by today's definitions and standards.

Steven Malkmus (Pavement, Silver Jews, Jicks, etc) comes to mind. He's a brilliant indie guitarist and songwriter whose been very outspoken politically for years now. Shit... he used to do Red Eye when the show was relatively new, but pretty sure Fox told the producers "no more Malkmus! He's waking up the youth again!"
