Trump himself says we are a Christian country, and he is helping bring us back to God. Religion aside, the Bible teaches us how to be moral, and we Christians live under the New Testament. God gives us an innate sense of right and wrong. You know when you sin. I have no idea where the Atheists get their moral compass...

Yup, I don't think freedom of religion meant what people nowadays think. My views are they were saying your flavor of Christianity, or no beliefs.
Exactly, there are many denominations, Puritans settled in New England to get away from the Church of England, not to do hare krishna on the green. What the USA did do in terms of Freedom of religion, was to not outlaw any religion, except for Mormonism, and there was that unfortunate thing in Salem , but we were a British colony at that time and the Church of England controlled that, as a colony.
