Up late. 1:52am. My youngest daughter (13) is having a sleepover with 3 of her giggly friends. They’re still awake. My wife is sleeping through it but not I, yet. It’s kinda fun hearing them through the walls or doors. They all won’t be like that much longer, so I guess it’s kind of a joy to hear, remember being young like that and the thrill/fun of staying up.
Of course they chitter-chat waaaay more than boys do I think. More than I ever did with my buddies spending the night. But it’s fun to know they’re having the type of fun that, as far as we know or “remember”, only happens once.
