The People of Canada have every right to take control of their country and throw all of the corrupt politicians out of office.

I've never been more proud of Canada than I was during the Great Trucker Protest. Still brings a tear to my eye thinking of the little kids calling in on CB radios to thank the drivers and say goodnight.

When the tractors skirted the road blocks to bring resources to the truckers, I saw a willpower by Canadians I was not expecting.

When the tractors were halted and I saw Canadian men and women riding in on horseback to deliver the needed resources, I saw an unbridled destiny riding across the fields.

That SPIRIT is within you all. And We the People of the United States are with We The People of Canada. Never forget that.

The Americans (sadly) seem to believe that they are the only ones to espouse true Conservative values. While I'd agree that the majority of "conservatives" in Canada are "small c" conservatives, and that the Conservative party is (at best leftist light), there are still MANY of us (even in the EAST) that hold true Conservative views and values.

The past 10 years of psuedo-communism were finally causing those who voted Liberal (thinking they were the centrist party of old) to begin challenging old assumptions and looking at the Covid+ era in Canada as the harsh reality that it is.

We have a (for all intents and purposes) gagged and silenced true Conservative leader on the political scene. "Mad" Max Bernier who's PPC party has a common sense, non-radical, down to basics policy platform that SHOULD resonate with true Conservatives. Canadians won't give him the time of day, he's invisible to the Canadian Media and banned from public debate.

He has been making the rounds on US social media, very little of that exists here in Canada to be leveraged. The guys a true adult, calm, measured, and well versed on the complex issues of immigration, economy, liberty etc.

As a true blue Trump supporter (his policy focus & his sincere attempt to break the back of the corruption monopolies that run all of our lives) my only fear was that his nobility would succumb to his ego. I fear, my fear has now come true.

I just cant square this circle, 5D chess aside. I admire the USA and I like and respect almost all Americans that I have had the good fortune to meet in my many years of working in Canada for US multi-nationals.

In many ways I wish Canada was more like the USA, more like, not absolutely the same as.

I feel Trump fucked up and empowered the exact douchebag regime and thinking that he preaches to fight.

Maybe his ego caused him to overplay this hand, maybe he does want to eat us for lunch.

Empowering the Libs might be his strategy to allow Canada to self destruct and then he'll acquire us for pennies on the dollar at the fire sale.

I was hoping that the pre-Trump fuck-up Conservative landslide that was emerging, would allow the more Conservatives of us to finally vote PPC and gain them a foothold in parliament. I'd love to see Maxime Bernier, call out the fake "small c" conservatives everyday. Maybe that way more Canadians will truly understand what it means to be a real Conservative.

I'm old, and settled, I can probably ride out 4-5 more years of the giant shit sandwich that is coming our way, regardless of who wins tonight.

And I'll own my piece of contributing to the mess we are in (sadly I was a brainwashed Liberal in my younger years).

But at least this time around, I said FUCK IT, I'm voting PPC, I'll eat the shit sandwich if I have to.

I just pray PPC gets at least 1 seat. GO MAX GO.
