Temu adds 'import charges' of about 145% after Trump tariffs, more than doubling price of many items
Temu, which sold customers on the ability to "shop like a billionaire" started adding "import charge" to orders in response to Trump's tariffs on China.
If I can buy something for a couple bucks you sell for $150 you're charging too much . I hope you guys survive and succeed tho, cheers
Hard to compete against slave labor. At some point, people have to do the RIGHT thing, not just the CHEAP thing.
I've tried to steer away from what we do in this post but since you want to judge, it's handmade men's rings in gold, sterling silver and titanium. If you prefer to pay $10 for a mass produced ring that you literally have no guarantee of even what it's made of vs. an average cost of $150 for a handmade band (in silver or titanium- y'all all know how much gold is these days) then that's your choice. Our men's bands are custom made to your specs- you can even design it entirely if you want- with custom inside ring engraving and lifetime support and cleanings, etc. We do not overcharge for what we do... we offer a high quality, specific style of jewelry at an amazing price- we have not raised prices since the pandemic, knowing that people are hurting depsite our own struggles- and we treat folks who buy the cheapest piece just the same as folks who buy the most expensive.
If you didn't dox yourself by giving contact info, I would buy one.
I stand corrected
