FYI: Jesus is mentioned more than Mohamad in the Quran. Both Jesus and his mother are highly respected in Islam. Muslims are ordered to respect and protect Christians, wherever they may be.

Different Jesus. The Jesus of Islam is against atonement for sin. The Jesus of Christianity IS the atonement for sin. P’bu is not God. Jesus of the Bible is God.
Interfaith respect doesn't mean theological alignment. Muslims view Jesus as a prophet, not the divine Son of God. Islam emphasizes God's unity, rejecting the Trinity. Yet, Islamic teachings urge respect and protection for peaceful Christians. Ironically, Jesus' return is also part of Islamic eschatology, where he'll help restore justice. Different narratives, shared values.

No, it doesn't. Review your reading comprehension. That verse is God commending His Angels to damage/destroy the unbelievers in a very specific context. Such verses exist in all scriptures.

Islam says, “kill them.” Christianity says, “they will kill you.” This is the meaningful difference.

Re: killing -- all scriptures have verses relevant to that theme.
Here's the main takeaway:
Judaism: we believe in a 1 Unified God. We believe we're superior to everyone else and everyone else is fair game (lesser humans; beasts). Also, we hate Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
Christians: we believe in a composite, tri-partitioned God. We claim to love everyone, except when we also use scriptures to justify wars, like others do, and we're as sinful as they come.
Islam: we believe in a 1 Unified God. We respect the "Peoples of the Book" (Jews, Christians) and remain peaceful, as much as possible. If aggressed, we will defend ourselves. We believe Jesus, a human, is the God-sent Messiah.
