Anyone Else Not Getting Real ID?

I'm sure they will make it painful to resist, but I'm not planning to get it. Anyone else holding out, or is this one hopeless?

I just renewed my drivers license (NY) and declined the Real ID as I have a NEXUS ID that makes me a trusted traveler and allows travel to Canada and Mexico and Caribbean. In all my years getting IDs I’ve never had to show a marriage certificate with my birth certificate, including getting a passport and the Nexus card. My birth certificate has my first and middle name that matches my photo ID drivers license, I could produce a marriage certificate if asked but it’s never been asked.

That will probably work in many states, because the required date is not here yet. Eventually most states will realize they don't want to have multiple versions of their ID and will consolidate.
