Anyone Else Not Getting Real ID?

I'm sure they will make it painful to resist, but I'm not planning to get it. Anyone else holding out, or is this one hopeless?

They wouldn't accept my FOID card as a valid ID. ( Odd, since the state issued the FOID card). So I have the old standard driver's license. I'm not interested in flying anywhere, anyway, with what is going on. If I really have to, I have my passport.

I used my Texas concealed weapons permit when I was working at a nuclear plant in MO. I went to go get my permanent badge the day I started, and my mag strip didn't work properly on my DL but it did on my CHL. It was a valid State ID and they had no problems with it. If I ever had to go back it wouldn't work now because it is not a Real ID, but my DL is.
