4.4m tax dollars from the city of San Marcos is being sent to Israel.. approximately 1.4bn in tax collected from Texas went to Israel.

This is the end result of AIPAC lobbying at the state level. There are more than a few states enforcing policies against any entity with anti-Israel sentiment.
